19:50 Brrrrrrrrrrrr!
Lots of progress with the on-line payment stuff since the last post;
All of the development is complete, and it has been through it's testing.
The only thing left is to have it all signed off by the credit card security company.
As the temperature continues to drop I'm finding it more and more appealing to be at my workbench with a lit torch in my hand!
Lots of new designs in the pipeline for next year, including the his/hers wedding gift pieces I am working on.
I started experimenting with the
Argentium silver I bought.
My initial impressions are generally quite favorable.

There was a minor 'hiccup' in the soldering department, but this was due to my supplier mixing up the labels between the solder and some Argentium wire.
(Which led to me sitting there heating the piece I was working on and wondering why the solder just wouldn't melt!)
By the time I had guessed what happened, I figured I would just try to fuse the elements together without solder.
This worked surprisingly well, a dirty oxide layer formed on some areas of the piece,
(due to over heating), but this buffed away with little effort leaving a clean bright polished finish.
There was no trace of firestain, which I would have expected if I had treated standard sterling silver in the same manner.
